Who we are?
Kilimanjaro Lemosho Cultural Tourism (KiLeCTo) is a community based tourism established and operating at Sanya Juu in Siha District within Kilimanjaro region, the western slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro with clear view points.The aim of KiLeCTo is to promote local tourism in Siha district and nearby places. Through the programme it will facilitate easily interaction of visitors with locals while enjoying their visits.
Moreover the programme aims to promote eco-tourism which is friendly to environment as the environment is the holder of all human activities. By promoting community based tourism through simplifying the visitation of visitors to the local areas we will be able to use the programme as a tool to alleviate poverty in rural areas through various ways like creation of employment opportunities to locals, creation of market to local goods and some percentage obtained from the programme will be dedicated as Village Development Fund (VDF).
